Iris the Unicorn Free Crochet Pattern

Rainbow. A Greek goddess sprinkling the clouds with seawater to create the first rainbow. That was the work of Iris, whose name rightly means “rainbow”

This cute little unicorn is crocheted all in one piece, the legs and arms are crocheted on then continue to the neck, then head. The only pieces to sew on are the muzzle and ears, horn, cheeks and curls.

Written in English US terms with abbreviations for UK

sc=single crochet (double crochet in UK)

inc=increase (2 sc in next stitch) (2 dc in next stitch UK)

mc=magic circle

dec=invisible decrease (sc 2 stitches together using invisible decrease) (double crochet 2 stitches together UK)

Invisible decrease

Insert hook into the front loop of the next stitch then the front loop of the stitch after, yarn over and pull through the two stitches, (two loops left on hook) yarn over and pull through both.
