Pebble Dash Hexagon Cardigan
This cardigan is made with two hexagons. It comes in sizes from baby to adult. My example was made using 4ply / weight 2 yarn but this cardigan can be made with any weight yarn and hook as it is made to measure.

MATERIALS
For my main colour I used Hobbii Rococo Linen Multi in Shade Fragonard (02) (100g / 272 meters) and Hobbii Rococo Linen in Shade Lace (01) (100g / 272 meters)
3.5 and 4mm crochet hooks or hook preferred for your choice of yarn
3-5 x 15-24mm buttons (if you want to use)
GAUGE
Gauge is not necessary as it is made to measure but this is what I got when making mine.
With a 4mm hook
18 dc x 8 rows = 4” x 4”
PATTERN NOTES
My example is a size Medium.
See the below size chart for how to size your hexagon and approx yarn amounts.
Follow the hexagon pattern until you reach the measurement that you are making (measure from the centre to the side of the hexagon to get this measurement)
The ch1 and 2 do not count as a stitch.
The ch3 counts as a dc.
The hexagon will not lie flat, it will be wavy, this is how it should be.
If you would like your sleeves more narrow, seam the sleeves once you are happy with the fit of them, then work 3 sides (back, bottom and front) until the hexagon measures the required size.
It is best to end the hexagon with an even row (the sc row). If that means it's a little bigger, that is fine. I think it's better to be a little bigger, than smaller.
For round 1 and all odd rows I used Rococo Linen Multi, for the even rows (sc rows) I used Rococo white, I also used white for the seaming and edging.

SEAM THE SLEEVES
End the hexagon on an even round. Fold the 1st and 4th corner together and slst across to form a sleeve. I used white to do this.
I used a slst join working in the back loop of the furthest away side and both loops on the nearest side. Always insert the hook from front to back of each stitch. VIDEO
INFILL
Place markers in the 2nd fpp from the top front for child sizes / 3rd fpp from the top front for adult sizes,
This will infill the back, front and bottom (working 3 sides) before joining. I started at the same side each row, so I was working the right side facing.
LEFT SIDE (as worn)
Join yarn in the stitch after marker (work as many rows as you need to reach the required infill for your size)
Fasten off at the end of each row and rejoin yarn in the first stitch.
