This giraffe lovey blanket is made with african flowers then a half double crochet (half treble UK) border around each one before slot stitching together, then a picot border around the blanket.
Blanket will measure 15 inches from point to point if made with dk and a 4mm hook.

30g light brown dk / light worsted yarn for blanket
60g yellow dk / light worsted yarn for giraffe
20g of cream dk / light worsted
A small amount of black embroidery thread for eyes
4mm hook for blanket
