Juniper Hoodie
This hoodie is made from the top down using herringbone single crochet, single and double crochet which create a lovely texture. It is joined to make the button band, hood, and sleeves, the hood is shaped to make it more rounded. It works up lovely and cosy and matches the other Juniper pattern range.
Materials
I used Hobbii Kind Feather shade (02) Off White 235 metres per 100g this is a rather thick dk yarn, so try to substitute for something similar (A similar thickness yarn is Stylecraft Bambino or Hobbycraft WI DK)
4mm crochet hook
3-7 x 20mm buttons
Written in English US terms with abbreviations for UK terms
Gauge
With a 4mm hook
18 stitches x 12 Rows = 4” x 4”
Row 1: ch19, sc in the second chain from hook, hsc 17. (18) Turn
Row 2: ch1, sc, dc repeat to end. (18) Turn
Row 3: ch1, sc 1, hsc 17. (18) Turn
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until 12 rows have been worked.
The PDF is 38 pages with plenty of photos and a short video to help with the hood edging.
