This 12 point star blanket is made using a variety of stitches to create some lovely textures.
The pattern makes a blanket of around 48” from point to point, but can be made smaller if wanted by finishing when you have reached your desired size.

Yarnsmiths Elvis DK 150g (450 metres) I used just short of 3 (1300 meters) (The yarn has just been discontinued)
4.5mm crochet hook
YARN SUBSTITUTES
Any DK weight 3 yarn can be used but if you are looking for a self striping yarn the following all look similar:
Papatya Cake, Sunflower Yarns Spectrum DK, Yarnsmiths Play Baby DK, Lion Brand Mandala.
If you would like to use single colours and want to change between, I would recommend changing after the ridge of the back post or 3lo round.
