Summer Granny Shorts and Vest Set

This crochet pattern contains the shorts, vest and appliques.

SHORTS
The shorts are made from two granny squares that are worked in turned rows. They are then joined and some ribbing added at the waist and legs. The colours can be changed when you like, these are great for using up your cotton scraps!

MATERIALS
DK / weight 3 yarn. I used Hobbii Acacia DK (51% Acrylic, 49% Cotton) Shades White (01), Blue (08), Sky Blue (10) 250 metres per 100g
4 and 4.5mm crochet hook

MATERIALS

RAINBOW: I used yarn smiths cotton dk in Lilac, Hydrangea Blue, Glacier Blue, Hint of Mint, Canary yellow and Fondant Pink.
FLOWER: White and Canary yellow
WHALE: I used the same colours as the vest. A small amount of black 4 ply yarn and 2.5mm hook.
STARFISH: Canary yellow
SEAWEED: Apple Green
